The Holy Spirit and the Fire of the Holy Spirit are of the same Spirit of God. The fiery character of the Holy Spirit reveals God's absolute love and power to save and transform His people from all evil and its destruction. The Fire of the Holy Spirit reveals also God's absolute repelling and destruction of all darkness and its works.
In the old covenant, the Fire of God was known and feared. The Fire of God is relentless and irresistible to destroy the darkness from His creation. His Fire is even more powerful and relentless to save the people He has created. In the New Covenant, the blood of Jesus separates His believers from the powers of darkness. When you were born again, your spirit was purified by the blood of Jesus and the Holy Spirit can unite with your spirit. Through your spirit, you are under the authority of Jesus by the Holy Spirit. You are protected by the blood of Jesus and the Holy Spirit can perform His purifying, healing and regenerating work in you.
You need not to be afraid of the Holy Spirit and Fire, but rather yearn earnestly His touch. The touch of the Holy Spirit and Fire delivers your soul and body from the powers of demons, traumas, sicknesses and any curse of oppression. In the old Covenant the Fire of God was destructive for the men, because they were in the bondage of darkness. John the Baptist began to proclaim the good news about the Holy Spirit and Fire. He saw that Jesus was the Sacrificial Lamb of God through whom the Fire of the Holy Spirit will touch the men.
God revealed to John the Baptist the most important core of the new covenant. He saw how God wants to immerse all people in the Fire of the Holy Spirit. Jesus was immersed in the Holy Spirit and Fire from His conception. Therefore, He was the Anointed One and the Son of God in the human form. In Jesus we see the salvation plan of God for the whole mankind. God the Father has will and power to perform this amazing transformation in every believer. You are saved from the slavery of darkness and death by the blood of Jesus. As God's child, you are transformed into the image of Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit and Fire.
The new birth of you spirit is only the beginning and the seed of your transforming into the image of Jesus. The Holy Spirit in you leads you into deep deliverance and inner healing process, where Jesus strengthens your spirit, renews your soul, body and whole life. In a way, John the Baptist saw this plan of God, although God did not reveal the details of His plan to him.
You have no way turning back to old life of sin. The Fire of the Holy Spirit causes an irreversible change in you. You are transformed "from power to power and from glory to glory". The Fire of the Holy Spirit calls you too to be a disciple of Jesus. He will give you wisdom and power for that. Jesus will deliver you from your corrupt man and raise you up as a son / daughter of God in the Fire of the Holy Spirit.
The whole glory of God's kingdom, the love of the Father, the saving, healing and creative power of Jesus will only appear to you when the Fire of the Holy Spirit touches you. The Fire of the Holy Spirit has dimensions that we do not know yet. But we can make at least the following observations about the Fire of the Holy Spirit:
The Fire of the Holy Spirit is God's supernatural essence and influence, which nothing natural or spiritual darkness can resist. The Fire of the Holy Spirit comes through Jesus, so it does not destroy a person but cleanses the darkness from him.
The Fire of the Holy Spirit is the igniting, purifying, melting power of God the Father's love, melting all hardness and opposition to purify and make people's hearts whole.
The Fire of the Holy Spirit is the absolute, new creative power of God which takes over the whole man. That is the power that comes from beyond man's control and the visible world.
The Fire of the Holy Spirit rules God's world, where everything works according to different laws than in the visible world. We can meet God in His Glory in Heaven only through the touch of the blood of Jesus and the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit and Fire.
The Fire of the Holy Spirit is God's perfect love for man and perfect hatred and destroying power against darkness and its works. All the powers of darkness flee from His glory. In the human being, all works of darkness, traumas, demonization, sicknesses, injuries and weaknesses are healed by the touch of the Fire of the Holy Spirit.
The Fire of the Holy Spirit first ignites the regenerated human spirit. Then the Holy Spirit and Fire begins a supernatural purification, deliverance and healing process in soul, body and life.
The Fire of the Holy Spirit ignites a burning longing in our inner man to get closer and closer to Jesus and the Father. The Fire of the Holy Spirit purifies and merges us into an ever-stronger union of glory with God. In this process the Holy Spirit strengthens the re-born spirit in God's love, revelation and faith.
The Holy Spirit and Fire regenerates and melts the whole personality of God's children into the presence and authority of Jesus. The corrupted love of the world disappears. Your inner man receives the complete satisfaction of life in the love and blessings of the Father.
Immersion in the Fire of the Holy Spirit is necessary to fulfill Jesus' great commission. The Fire of the Holy Spirit transforms believers into disciples of Jesus. The Fire of the Holy Spirit equips and anoints disciples of Jesus as apostles.
The extreme love and compassion of the Father is manifested in the Fire of the Holy Spirit. This heals all people from broken heart. In the love of the Father, the trauma of sin and fatherless life is removed. The identity of the son / daughter of God takes over the orphan life.
The Holy Spirit and Fire will create a dwelling place of Jesus and the Father in the spirit of believer. Through this temple of God, the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit will manifest in this world and bring the Kingdom of God on the earth.
The Fire of God makes you capable to preach and minister the Gospel in such an authority, love and power that is needed to win souls for Jesus.
In the Fire of the Holy Spirit, you will save souls. You will heal and deliver them while making them disciples of Jesus. You will release the Fire of the Holy Spirit to transform disciples into the image of Jesus Christ.
Jesus is now preparing His church for the greatest revival in world history. A huge harvest is ahead of us all. Jesus is fulfilling His plan on the earth. All dimensions of His salvation will be manifested and demonstrated in the Fire of the Holy Spirit. The body of Christ will receive full maturity in the Fire. The world will see and confess Jesus as the Lord and Savior when the church ministers in the Holy Spirit and Fire.
Only immersion in the Fire of the Holy Spirit can bring about the great change that the church needs now. Jesus not only wants to save all people after their death to Heaven. His final goal is to make disciples of all nations. In this huge transformation process He will heal all areas of His church – individually and corporately.
The apostles Paul and Peter lived under the touch of the Fire of the Holy Spirit. They had a revelation about the immersion in the Fire of the Holy Spirit. The entire early congregation was so strongly influenced by the Holy Spirit that they were waiting for the very soon return of Jesus to take the congregation to the glory of Heaven.
The invitation to be immersed in the Fire of the Holy Spirit is upon you too. We cannot avoid the call of Jesus. So, prepare your heart for a great change. The Father's love calls you and will deliver you from all possible slaveries of darkness. The salvation of Jesus is already complete. The Father's promise of immersion in the Fire of the Holy Spirit has already been given. Now Jesus is waiting for your and my response to His call.
